"This is a good place to stop." There is no good place to stop when this gentleman is lecturing. He is truly in a class of his own. If you happen to be reading this, I offer you and MIT my sincere thanks for posting these videos.

This was an amazing course by an incredible lecturer. Professor Zweibach makes the subject even easy to understand thanks to his clear, concise and insightful explanations. He is a truly outstanding teacher. Huge thanks to MIT, for making this available, and especially to professor Zweibach for making me fall in love with the subject. On to 8.05!

"This is a good place to stop" [SCREEN GOES BLACK] You kidding me? Would it really have hurt so much to let us hear professor Zweibach's final thoughts for this course?
@nathanielthomas44374 ай бұрын
I didn't like how they sliced the lectures up into little topic videos for this course. Fortunately they didn't do that for his Quantum Physics 2 lectures. And for Quantum Physics 3, they included his final thoughts in the last lecture.

zwiebach, a true legend. Being young and fascinated in science used to be such a bummer but now im not sure i believe that. im 14 and i recently remembered the impact that this course had on me, went back to review some things and realized how precious this course is.

I do hope that this comment means that you're currently 16 and still fascinated by science.

Thanks mit for 8.04 , I understand the basics , half the scattering states and good understanding of bound states , central potential and redial equation ,but some trouble in hydrogen atom ,and I'm going to learn linear algebra now

Incredible teaching. Got me really interested in QM. Looks I got to buy the book also. Retired Engineer who got a little curious. I am sure the book is going to be excellent as well. Weird thoughts came. If there was a multiverse could we create some kind of Quantum Bridge. How would we construct one. Is this even feasible. For this I need to learn this very well.

I wonder if it is the case that the space spanned by Pauli matrices are simply an isomorphism from any subspace of wave functions with two states.
