May God cuts our life-years and devote them so they can spread gurbani education and kirtan in this holy manner.

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't the taus designed by Guru Hargobind Sahib ji? And the dilruba by Guru Gobind Singh ji as a lighter more portable version of the taus
BRAVEHEART !!!! IS GURU GOBIND SINGH JI. Thanks to these kids, they bring joy to our living rooms.

The instrument which u see 2nd from the right side with a peacock at the bottom is a dilruba .... My guru nanak's invention !!!!
@maninderjeetsingh42519 жыл бұрын
+Andre Bhutta some say that it was invented by Guru Gobind Singh Ji and some argue that it was invented by Guru Hargobing Sahib ji or Guru Nanak Dev ji....but no evidence of history in all 3 cases but it is clear that it was invented by Sikh Gurus in the pashtun rule

+maninderjeet singh +Andre Bhutta Yes, but the most important thing is that our Guru Ji made such an amazing instrument would you not agree?
@sunnyshine7628 жыл бұрын
It's basically a bass dilruba. But we don't really know if the Gurus invented the Dilruba. Pretty much no proof of it outside of Gurmat Sangeet oral history and no other history points to the Gurus as the inventors. In my opinion, it doesn't matter if the Gurus invented these instruments what is well established is that they make up the original Kirtan tradition of Sikhi.
@sunnyshine7628 жыл бұрын
+Sunny Minhas the arguement of dilruba being more portable doesn't actually make sense since the dilruba seeks to replicate the sound of the sarangi/saranda but is much easier to play and if you see the saranda you will know its even more portable than dilruba. Either way, like you said in the end they are beautiful instruments on which to play and listen to the Gurus Kirtan.
