Is there any distance between the cover and the box after closing the door ? How it is, i dont see it in the video , seems like some gap between those.

I’m guessing the level of the door and the inside has to be at the same level. The inside of my cabinet is indent to the door , can that work

Mitre 10 New Zealand about 6 inches. But there is the piece of the base where the hinge is installed to use, that’s about 4 inches

The lid stays down.the spring from the lid poped out , I don’t know how to put the spring back or where I can get another lid like this.
