Hi. Can raspberries be trained to grow against a wall on wires, or do they need to free stand with air circulation? Also, do they need to be dead-headed or have their branches pruned in order to grow again?

Good question, what did you do, ??? I have a corrogated iron fence on back boundary which would be a great heat trap Cant see the point of building a frame, when i can run a wire from one end to the other.

@@tiktaktotiki8595 Hi there. Actually, I was waiting for an answer to this question from the guy in the video. I figured it would be a good option as space is limited. I also want to train an apple and a pear tree against a wall, as it not only saves space, but benefits from the warmth of the bricks. Happy gardening my friend. Not very clear - for single-bearing (summer-fruiting) only the canes that have fruited should be cut back, not the new growth which bears in the second year!?
