she actually said once that she lives her whole life in a quiet, anxious mess in a way but once she's on stage she's truly herself. i think that's amazing, really. her performances are so unique but so fitting

This songs speaks of race, speaks of colour, speaks of self-approval and most importantly, self-love. Aight guys don’t start a fight here and recognize this songs and sympathy with it. Don’t deny the meaning behind and don’t hate when others don’t understand. I guess it takes time to understand if you are born privilege and that is not completely their fault.

Yes their privilege is not something they chose, but their blatant ignorance is their responsibility. Especially with such privilege they possess.

she is a master of performing, songwriting, singing and is so in touch with her craft in such a unique way. the music industry owes her and women of color everything.

As someone who is in their 40S and listening to mitski I relate because I was born half Asian half white it was hard because I couldn't pick a side people assume your one or the other until I was older I had to understand it doesn't matter how white/black/spanish/asian you are you shouldn't have to degrade yourself about your skin because at the end of the day we all on the inside are beautiful beings.

This hits me so hard every time. I lived most of my life searching after their approval and didn’t feel alive until they looked at me in the eye and smiled. Then I came out as trans and I don’t even like men. I thought this ache would go away once I freed myself.. but it just hasn’t and it breaks me every day

watching this knowing resellers sold out the tickets and i’m too poor to afford scalped prices and won’t be able to see her makes it hit more than usual
@w02102 жыл бұрын
some resellers do sell them for more affordable prices, so don't worry & keep an eye out! some resellers also lower the price nearer to the concert date so you may have a chance buying a few days before the concert. you could pray and hope she adds another date to your city too... good luck! hope you'll be able to see her ❤
