F1 2020 Autodromo Internacional Nelson Piquet (Brasilia) | Sergio Perez Onboard

Here's an F1 onboard lap at the Autodromo Internacional Nelson Piquet in Brasilia, Brazil, the circuit was also previously known as the Autodromo de Brasilia and Autodromo Elimio Medici.
This F1 2020 hotlap is driven in Assetto Corsa with Sergio Perez in his Formula 1 2020 Racing Point RP3 challenger (RSS Formula Hybrid 2020).
The circuit is located in the capital of Brazil, Brasilia, right across the Estadio Nacional football stadium. The circuit was opened in 1974 and has a length of 5.476km (3.403 mi).
It has hosted numerous major events, including a non-championship Formula One race in 1974, which was hosted a week after the 1974 F1 Brazilian Grand Prix to celebrate the track's opening.
The track was renamed to honor Formula 1 World Champions Nelson Piquet.

Well, not exactly this one. That one was in Rio de Janeiro. This is another City, Brasília. They both has the same name for their racetracks (Autodromo Nelson Piquet). But they are two completely different cities.

Just for help you ! There are other interesting tracks in Brazil! Look for Taruma, Santa Cruz, Cascavel, Ponta Grossa, Caruaru, Londrina, Guaporé, Curvelo and Velopark. I hope you enjoy it.

Unfortunately they killed that race track. In 2015 there was going to be an Indycar Series race in Brasilia, but they canceled the race, stopped the works they were doing to receive this Indycar Series race and in the end the race track was abandoned

@@612LimaDias the problem is thinking that it all happens because of a city as if it would be any different if the capital were somewhere else. Brasília were made to be the capital, that's a fact. But six decades later, almost seven decades later... It is already much more than that... A lot of people came from all over the country to work on the construction of buildings whitout any protection (many of them died) and after it was done, the majority of them stayed in Brasília and grew their families over here. Also, Brasília as a starting city had incentives for entrepreneurs to start business in the city and as the time past, it attracted more people... In the same way Brazil become a mix of different nationalities due to colonization and other colonies surging apart from Africans and Portuguese people (Italians, Germans...), Brasilia become a mix of Brazil, so it grew up much more than expected and that's why it is one of the largest cities of Brazil and that's why I say it: Brasília arent just politics, that's just 1% of what it is currently when we talk about culture, history, local traditions, arts and it's people.

@@Mitsos1311 you are shifting almost at max RPMs, you can clearly hear that the engine revs a lot, anyways i was only asking, because it was weird for me, i always shift at the Blue LEDs, but its a personal decision

@@thesucker2002 this car accelerates really fast and timehe early gears on this car rev up way quicker than most others, so the early gears are hard to catch at low rpm

@@Mitsos1311 well following the LEDs is the best solution for me, i just moderate the throttle on low speed and then when shifting i follow the LEDs on the dash, also memorizing the engine sounds to know when to shift to don't even look at the LEDs is another alternative, i use both if you ask me, just a solution to some small "problems" that can happen in some cars, especially V10s and V6s Hybrids, just some nice tips from my part 😁
