Finally had some time to get EP2 in the series edited up! Been on it for a few weeks on and off working on the electrics. Let's just say, it wasn't what we expected!
At least we were able to get onto fitting the new ECU and starting to sort out the wring.

If I recall correclty those Hitachi coils used by PRP are actually the ones for an R35 GTR. Part of what makes the kit a bit pricey. Really enjoying this series, it's been fascinating to watch. And hey I still have 3 more videos in this series. I know what I'm gonna be doing tonight! Do you think the numerous bodge jobs were actually done by Ralliart themselves or was this the team(s) that campaigned it over the years?

Glad you like the series! Most likely the stuff we've had to fix has been the work of successive private owners over the years.

My brother has a VR4 rally car waiting to be restored , it's the first car built by Blaze Motorsport , rallied in Asia and Europe and can be seen on the world rally website.

Nice! The VR4 is an iconic Group A rally car and many people loved them then and now. Shame there's not many left any more.

Awesome vid, I was hoping you could give us a link of all the PRP and Link 4G part numbers and where you got them from. As I would like to replace all of mine with same as yours.

We won't be able to put the links up, however can steer you in the right direction. Contact PRP directly for the COP conversion to make sure you get the correct one for your engine. Any reputable Link dealer will be able to supply you the right parts to suit your car. If the car still has the OEM ecu, there may be a plug & play Link ECU available which saves a wire in unit. We used a wire in as the OEM ecu and loom had already been removed.

Great video, I've been waiting for this one! I noticed the adjustable brake master brace, is that something you see commonly on rally cars? I might use that idea on my Galant.

Thanks for watching. The brace on the master cylinder was fitted by a previous owner. They are supposed to reduce firewall flex during braking. We do see them fitted occasionally..
