Lovely car. I would definitely buy another Mitsubishi. Had a pajero for 14 years with no problems with it. Loved the jeep and Mitsubishi.

Great no nonsense review, as ever, where I live it’s very rural and all the farmers and tradesmen use L200s, they seem pretty indestructible taking a lot of abuse, never driven one but been in a few and seem very good off road as well as decent on road. Would I have one, no but mainly because I just couldn’t justify it, I don’t go off road and I rarely haul anything heavy. That front end does look delicate though.

Looked like a pajero sport you saw Bob, they were tiny on the inside! Still think its hard to look past a hilux for any of this stuff although I agree about the Ford Ranger Raptor(lotto money!) 😍

Good review mate. In Australia the Triton has an excellent reputation for being tough and reliable and great value for money. The MR has s beefed up chassis compared to early MQ's and even earlier Tritons and retains the big rear 10 inch differential. 4wdAction Magazine very recently voted it number 1 in a shootout with all the other major dual cab utes including Amarok, Ranger, Hilux etc. Cheers

@@browningmaxus5360 not according to 4wdAction.... anyway Toyota these days would love to have the 2.4 litre Triton motor's reliability and efficiency. The whole package is now very good and overall better than Hilux even before the $ is accounted for. Cheers

Sure the Toyota Hilux is worth a shout! Defintely agree with the comment that the outside looks very soft / breakable with all that plastic. I could imagine it would be used for branding like for radio station outdoor crew or something as it attracts attention

L200 do 4Life, Trojan, Warrior, Barbarian and Barbarian X In UK one dealer one in the world i believe, Firs Mitsubishi, has a Browning special edition, exclusive to them Think i was an honest review, but people fail to remember Mitsi pretty much invented the dual cab pickup, the Ranger is popular but has some major injector issues and gearbox problems, no ones perfect though

Just a guess you have to manually lock the tailgate as per the Nissan navara, not locking with the car. Ps no roof rack it’s a pick up how odd.

Had Tritons for over 20 years. Overall as good a quality and reliability as Hilux at 2/3 the price = much better value. Agree on the front end of these. Hopefully they'll take care of it in a face lift. We'll have to see how they fare now that Renault / Nissan have a controlling interest. Sadly it may be the end of the road.

Way to much fluff and flounce for primarily a working vehicle. A well kept used Hilux is always the answer to a requirement in this sector. Nobody should ever be buying one as a family car cos your kids will puke very much.

Looks like a cheap local body kit to make it look meaner. These pickups sell in the US where stealing from these cargo bed is associated with a gun at your head from the driver. Here we have transits which Americans are just getting used to buying. Most of these pickups use cheap diesel engines, are too wide, too heavy and work only where diesel is silly cheap
