Mitsubishi L200 (B40) Rear propshaft universal joint (UJ) replacement - General Shenanigans

Hi, what were the symptoms that caused you to replace the uj? reason I ask is that mine is creaking and squeaking under load, but the ujs all seem ok, do you know if there is a bearing coming put the transfer box that can be worn?

Hey buddy. First thanks for the comment. I would say that these things can be hard to diagnose. The only way to be sure it's not a UJ is to actually remove the prop sharf and check...unless it's really worn. I had a vibration in the floor and checked the rear prop only because I had replaced a UJ on that one before and wanted to rule out the other one. Sorry I don't know anything about the transfer box on the L200. I'm just learning about this truck as I go and it has been very reliable. 🙂
