Use to do alot of cruising up and down Queen St years ago, hard case days. My van still comes out to play every now and again. I have 2x DD 9515's in my van, and i still have them along with all the other audio gear :-) Still nice and loud :-) Yep, i remember PLAYLD. I also remember him pulling it down and selling it maybe 2 years ago now? Was a unique car with what he did. Thanks for the comments.

@jkj159s I have seen people put mitsubishi 4g93 turbo's (1800cc), Mitsubishi VR4 V6 twin turbo (93 onwards), 4G63 turbos from Evo 4-9 (engine ports have swapped sides to the early model 4G63) V6 Holden motor, small block chev. So you can put a wide variety of motor in a L300, it comes down to time, money and patience.

@SoWastedMusic It use to manage a 14.8 at Meremere in around '05 (standard E39A computer). The plan is to take it to Meremere this coming summer, see what time it can produce since the computer has finally been tickled with. I was happy with the Dyno tune before Wanganui with the gains that was made, the Dyno tune it has had since resulted in more gains so im looking forward to what it can do. 7.5yrs in the making.

Hi. I run just a standard L300 gearbox from a 88-91 Mitsubishi L300 2L Petrol. Standard. Bolts straight onto the 4G63 VR4 block, and i run the L300 standard flywheel, with a heavy duty clutch and pressure plate.

@ELUMN8U yeah getting rid of all the afm stuff is a good feeling haha map sensors is the way to go. With any luck mine will be similar spec to your van although yours is definately alot tidier, keep posting vids man tis a cool van

@selfishsound Hey. In the last year i have changed to Evo 510cc injectors, profec b electronic boost controller, and put a MapECU2 piggy back computer to my standard E39A computer. This allowed me to get rid of the airflow meter, have launch control etc. Dyno'd now to 262kw - 360hp, 18psi, 100% increase on power from a year ago.

haha awesome man what specs are you running now? Ive just got my one going td05h 18g, microtech computer, external gate and screamer etc gona run it on 14-16psi once its tuned if it goes anywhere near as good as yours id be stoked !

The van runs a standard L300 gearbox from a 1988 - 1991 van. My van is still column shift.
