How much pressure is needed/allowed from the air compressor without damaging the DPF?

Tell me what the problem might be, Mitsubishi Outlander hl 2011 2.3 diesel engine 4n14. I drive 1-2 km, stop, revs 900, two minutes pass, drop to 650, after the revs have dropped, I idle, then start and drive again 1-2 km and revs are 900 again, after 2 minutes they drop to 650 again. There are no errors.

I'm having a nightmare with my dpf on my Transit custom, its regening at about 15 miles , dpf pressure at idle is about 0.4 kpa, I'm convinced this is because my dpf has had learned values reset ! Could this be the case ?

Which diagnostic tool could I use to read the live data pressure on the dpf of a Vauxhall vivaro 2013 before cleaning it to see if the pressure reduces after cleaning? Regards Craig

O reily just the man I got a question my fiesta 1.6tdci just failed the emissions maximum aloud was 1.50 1/lm.but mine was 2.56 1/m Night before I did a static regen on it what do you recommend next like spray etc and most effective one or new dpf 👍👍👍👍

Main failure of emissions is not having the engine at operating temperature while doing the test

oil change air filter also, plus you can tip ex over the plate value so the mot tester has to use a generic one that is often higher. I also you millers ecomax in the diesel tank that reduces emissions.

@@robevans8625 was thinking of giving it a full service as not sure when the last one was, I not heard that one before, how can I tip ex it if he does it by the reg when he sets the system up or is that possible my mot tester is always squeeky clean 🙄

What causes the blockage in the first place? I do long country runs, plenty of time to heat up regen etc, but still getting check dpf and even limp mode.

There's normally a different problem that causes the dpf to block up. Something which causes the fuel burn incorrectly.. a split air intake hose maybee intercooler pipe or faulty sensor.. problems need to be found then once fixed. Clean dpf. Should be good to go

I have an ASX diesel same problem but I have put cleaner through DPF but the scan tool I have is unable to clear the codes (same as the video), is there a launch tool you know of that will clear this, would prefer the cheapest option

Anything in the £600-1200 range should do dpf resets. I have a Diagun Evo tool I can sell

On idle it was on 15 hpa, and after the reset of the DPF it went to 0 hpa. How is that possible? ty

34k and the dpf was blocked. wow. 31 mpg for a diesel is very poor also
