- green badge is for a plastic grill, but sadly dunno why it's green change from single meter pods to one cluster in march 86, they changed a few more things then. may 84 they also had minor tweaks, for example steering column love the work on the engine,, looks awesome

Nice to see but thing you get excited about are just normal to a seasoned Pajero owner s. The white one is like my first one but it was green and an old man emu promo car with ARB fibreglass flairs and ally bull bar. Yes I still have the grill , flairs and bull bar. My mother's first Pajero was an 1984 red superwagon ex Graham Cornes Mitsubishi dealers car 2.3td flairs and bullbar the same and ally side steps. The orangey red was rare color and had suspension seats in the blue trim. My mother's second one was one of the last 1990/91 2.5td exe ordered after the new model V6 second gen, came out as diesel wasn't available for another few months. The Pajero s after mid 1988 were galvanised body's . My mother still has the Malacca blue exe like show room condition never been of road and 430 000 km . Yet I have one as well and it's a great work horse. Mine got my original flairs , ARB ally bullbar and side steps off my 83. I have a 90 exe SWB JDM in grey n silver. I also have the rear Aust delivery cargo bins for it. I have a 92 GLS SWB V6, 92 GLS shooters roof lwb. A 95 GLS 3ltr V6 GLS in blue manual front sun roof, a 95 sport DOHC manual, 96 DOHC auto GLS, a 99 Nl escape , a 2001 NM Exceed , 2006 GLS diesel manual. I'm building a 96 commercial diesel into a Ute / farm fire appliance . This has leaf spring rear , electronic rear locker ARB winch bar. Manual hubs but super select and was 4m40 but going 4d56t for simplicity. I do like the early super wagons in high roof these are good wind deflectors for towing better than the flat roofs. I have had over 20 Pajero. My uncle was a factory test driver for Mitsubishi RIP. PS the 4g54 turbo charges EFI really well. But put tapped in diff plugs in the Welsh plugs . I loved my shorty's too . I guess that's why I have one of each gen 1 and gen 2.

I think the one thing we all won’t get over is the never ending head gaskets! No seasoned Pajero owner ever gets over them! Hahaha

@@Ayjay8 I wasn't one upping , but I've had 4 xR32 GTRs , ex works Subaru legacy rs type R .to many to list . But t in the shed n driving are 2 Touareg V10 TDI twin turbo s. WRX wagon, Fc3s X2 , series 1&2&3 rx7 s , Magna ralliart AWD one of a hand full . 2 other AWD magnas, RX8 x3. And a elfin and a locost7. Then there are the tractors. And the storage property full of cars too. So pull your head in and respect others automotive collections and knowledge. PS I know more people with bigger collection s Australia wide and were all mates in cars

@@yehawwww I'm also finding 6g72 3ltr heads are cracking in side the rocker cover between the spring support and valley if the cam Journal .these can be tricky to diagnose as a head gasket problem. I have 4 engines in the bench all got this problem . Just buy new heads. Not expensive anymore. A similar problem occurs with the 4g54 but it's crack appears inside the intake or exhaust runners under valve spring foundations. Look into Japanese forklift heads better quality aluminium. And don't use Hyundai heads rough castings. TR Magna Roller rocker heads are good big valves ,chamber design is good and an EFI manifolds. Just need cut n shut the throttle body and thermostat added. Then good for turbo .
