100% WG made that contract with Dune months ago, then the strike came and the movie got delayed, but the CEOs of Filmmakers didnt care, so now we have the WG collab at the time where the movie would be running for a week now if it wasnt delayed due to the strike.

The last appearance of this tank on your channel was 10 years ago. 40% / 33% camo on a medium this big + 451m viewrange without even using optics. Equipment 2.0 really turned this whole game on it's head and I'd argue there's a big oversaturation problem with both camo and viewrange in WoT since.

true. What could help tho is to limit the usage of CVS (and perhaps Exhaust as well) to only light tanks. Which are currently rather underpowered. Those things would help make light tanks relevant again.

@@robinkhn2547 light tanks are already the most important tanks in the match because of CVS being mandatory on them. There's not many mediums that can use CVS let alone are willing to smack it on. If anything making it light only would make tons of maps WAY worse with regards to draws and ultimately make light tanks the most influential tank type in the game.

Yeah its sad to see how far WG has fallen, WOT has all this powercreep and manages to have less content now then it used too, so many removed maps the game feels stale. WOWP its dead and WOWS is going bad fast with the introduction of subs and op carriers, 5 years from now WG will only have russian playerbases

Problem with this tanks is that 0.28 acc becomes 0.5 when tanks moves slightly. Zero gun handling. Should have made it better to make it stand out at least in one area.

Yes, it needs its own tab to disable because it doesn't simple appear like it doesn't fit it, it doesn't fit in at all, and more likely belongs on console or Blitz then it does on PC.

I think its a cool design and while it is soemewhat out of place in the time period of WoT, it clearly does take inspiration from modern Tank Prototypes I would say. Also, I think after quite a while thats one I will get again, the 122TM shows that tanks like that can work, while they are by no means overpowered, in essence its a 122TM that traded its armor against mobility and some DPM, so the tank seems well balanced to me and no one of us will argue that thats better then a new BZ-176 right? :) Since I have soft spot for the 122TM I am actually playing those days to get that one too and 3500 is fine for a cooperation-tank with some work for the stages I would say.

Would be my guess that it’s because in reality the front suspension and rear suspension are locked together. Front can only go down if the back goes up, kind of thing. Not gonna lie though. It would be super funny to have a tilting tank. 😆

Bought a tank out of pure curiosity... And here's a surprise! A tank that serves only for sniping and an "opportunity" tank IMHO. Such bad integration of hydraulics has not been seen for a long time! The tank is just a cover to take time or money. The udes 14/5 is a miracle for this tank!

I don't think it's a good idea to infer that the win ratio equates to how "good" a tank is. I think what win ratio actually shows is what tanks the good players are playing. Good players will make a bad tank have a good win rate just like bad players can play the best tank in the world and it doesn't really change their WR.

I think that the numbers for the armor are wrong. I tested it with my clan mates and my Ferdinand had a hard time penning it from the front and my CC 56 adn CC-67 just couldn't. Still, I first read Dune back in the 70's and I love that series (the Frank Herbert one, the others ones not so much) and I grew up not too far from where Denis Villeneuve lived so I will get this tank :) I don't think I will be able to complete 40 stages in 11 days however...

It's a shame that premiums are so OP now that vehicles like this look disappointing. This tank a few years ago would be consider OP or at the least, exceptional. I appreciate Wargaming has been doing better with not adding OP premiums all the time, but they need to either adjust the other premium vehicles OR buff up tech tree and not so great premiums to he on par. That way, they avoid nerfing premiums, but just made everything around them on par which essentially accomplishes the exact same thing.

Aslong as they dont repeat the mistake they made with 268/4, minotauro on release im fine with getting new techtrees that are slightly underpowered and the buffing them to match the others

Love Dune, reading the books at the moment. I like the look of the tank in another game but you right it does not fit in. As per usual WG is selling a poor performance tank. Did not bother with the Obsidian and I will not be bothering with this one either.

yeah but in longer engagements against higher tier, this thing will come out on top. KPz can easily dominate a tier 8 match but once you get into tier 10 heavy/td mm, you really feel the limit of its small alpha unless you find grille or fv4005. Could use better dispersion on the move though as of right now its got skorpion gun handling which works both ways

It's probably a fine TD, perhaps that's the better way to play it. Playing it like a ridgeline medium doesn't seem like the right way to make it work. IMHO It'll never replace my SU130 though LOL

I did not like this clunky automatic hydropneumatic suspension system on the UDES mediums, but then, they at least get decent gun depression when it is active. But a measly 9 degrees even WITH the suspension activated? And that with a turret that is made of paper? That sounds VERY bad to me ...

I don't think the reason for the tank to be locked behind paywall has anything to do with Dune IP. In previous cases (Shtpktptksptptptktp or 56TP), you could get base tank for free. Buying extended BP unlocked the 3D skin and ability to purchase individual stages. In case of this BP, base tank is Kpz 68, which has nothing to do with Dune. Even more, free BP gives you Dune themed crew member. The only reason i could think of is that perhaps previously extended BP didn't sell as well as WG projected. So they came up with this idea how to milk players some more.

@@syNM94Except T-832 was just it. You could not get the T-832 without "Terminator" skin. Here, there is absolutely nothing from Dune in the base Kpz 68. And you can choose whether to play it with or without Dune themed skin. That being said, i have not read the books, so maybe Frank Herbert actually mentions "Mittlerer Kampfpanzer 68 (Porsche)" somewhere. In that case yes, it would fall under Dune IP.

To me it sounds so strange to call it the Mittlerer because thats neither a name nor a designated callsign. It just means middle or in this case medium. So its a Medium Battletank called Project 68. Probably calling it by the number wound be more handy and easier for none german speakers too. But i guess i have to accept that everyone is talking about the Medium 😅
