I’m not a huge Japanese bike fan but that’s a beauty, nice when you can add your own personal touch to a project bike. The sunshine really brought out the lovely colour.

Very nice. Great job, Lenny. I love the paint job. I had a 1975 CB750 resto mod for a while. It was my first bike getting back into riding after 25 years. First vintage bike. I recently sold it but the CB750 will always have a special place in my heart. I don't love the no rear fender look, but that's a personal preference thing. I like mudguards on my vintage bikes, they complete the lines of the motorcycle.

I always loved that Honda 750 four! I remember when they first came out. That riding position hurts my back hurt just looking at it.

I hated the Hondas back in the late sixties and seventies, mainly because of they displaced the Brit bikes in those days, but now they are "classics" and fill a niche they assumed with the quality and performance, and do very nicely with good springs, shocks and the upgrade parts that make them handle well and keep them alive and well. This one looks good and I expect handles very nicely as it should. Thanks for showing it off! I really enjoy your Sunday fare, Mike. Love "the culdesac tales".

That is a very nice semi-custom Honda. I have been looking for a un-molested single cam CB750 for a reasonable price for a few years now. I don't want one that's been modified or chopped and boy has it been hard to find one that hasn't been messed with. Most are either way overpriced or are pictured for sale with the parts in milk crates. I just restored my '68 Bonneville and am itching to start on another project.

This and the Kawasaki Z1 (A or B) represent the start of the Japanese big-bore era.
