Ingredients:
for coffee caramel :
1/2 cup of sugar (100g)
1/4 cup of water (60ml)
1 tsp of instant coffee
for flan:
2 eggs
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp of instant coffee
1 tbsp of warm water
1 can of condensed milk (397g)
fil the same can with milk (290 ml)
1/2 tbsp of liquid vanilla

yeah, a bit click bait - NO OVEN - I make something similar -there's numerous variations- and I think it's easier baking 15 min in the oven (with or without the graham cracker crust ) at 350 and then turn off heat and check if it's doing ok and leave in if it needs more 'evaporating' .....then try it hot or cool The caramel topping is 'extra' - the 'pie' could be lemon.lime, cherry, coconut, peach or use your imagination .....it's when you add the fruit that u need more cooking time - and actually you can add it later on top and so on ......

cook the 'egg mixture' about 15/18 min at 350 and it's done add 1 tablespoon of vinegar and also try 1 quarter spoon baking powder added to milk ( that changes texture - depends on egg size blah blah - basic custard pie, leave out the coffee and put in coconut or raisins or whatever you like - tart cherries are great because it's too sweet as is .....
