400 ml (13.5 fl oz) milk.
Zest of 1 lemon.
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar.
cook until it boils.
2 egg yolks.
40g (1.4oz) sugar.
15 g (0.5 oz) cornstarch.
cook, stirring constantly. until thickened.
let cool down.
Juice of 1 lemon.
100 g (3.5 oz) condensed milk.
beat until thick.
Decorate with cinnamon, cocoa or chocolate.
Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Savoiardi cookies.
decorate with chocolate.
Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

actually, no! She showed it correctly. I made it all the time. I'm 70yr old. We cooked like that. And, this was just desert. There was also a 3-course meal. That's a fact. And, that's just the way things were in the simple life - and everyone did it 70yrs ago - and I still do it now. Only now, they think I have magic. It's quite the opposite. It was that wonderful - it was all available within 5min time, every hour of the day, regardless of what you cooked. You always kept supply. I despise all the instant deserts. They are tasteless. Not at all like the real thing. Her problem is she doesn't speak English - thought I was bashing her cooking! Shoot - I was praising her for showing it - but she had an American Woman from the preparing it -- I made an assumption, it was the woman from the South!!

Точно, только посуду пачкать. Первый десерт - это фактически заварной крем, который можно сделать в сотейнике, там же остудить и потом туда же ввести сгущенку с лимонным соком и взбить. Только на подачу в другую посуду переложить. Второй рецепт даже смотреть не стала. Тягомотина.
