Refreshing to see an actual tutorial instead of someone just trying to sell a product. Thank you!

Great vid! Just incase you didn't know, you can get rid of that reddish (or any other) tint by selecting the grey accent color in OSX.

Hi Dylan... Why you cut all good information...... For example.. How to make deep breath.. how to do something.. things moving so fast and even can't see how you fix some in your mix... and need spend a lot of time to find how to do this.. Also suggestion for your next video: You can show all commands of shortcuts, that people can learn from video to video.. Thank you for your great content!!

I don’t quite get what he’s actually doing with the VU meter in phase 1, checking the levels are around 0db… but what is he adjusting if they’re not? He’s already set the normalisation, and it’s before the quick balance.. 🤔

Duuude all these functions! I never knew they exist. Like the normalize by peak funtion or removing silence. Thankyou

I love the remove silence function in Logic. Super handy on Toms. Then you don't have to use a gate.

Hi Dylan, how do you make your sections up at the top translucent (see through). Also, I noticed in the arrange area that there is a slight hew of colour for each coloured group of tracks. How do you do this? Thanks in advance. Steve.

so mix prep is the key to a much better and faster mix?
@Alienor-music3 жыл бұрын
First time trying to mix a song. After I exported my audio files and import them to a new project for mixing, they show „bus x“ as the output but that should be 1-2 or so, right. Any idea how to fix that?

Didn’t understand the phasing part but I think I’m having that problem in my mixes. Does this have anything to do with the sound clipping or sounding wack when a kick snare and hat play at the same time, for example?
@Jahk-mode8764 жыл бұрын
Not really, phasing is two similar sounds rubbing up on each other which starts to sound smeared or have a significant drop in volume or causing any other weird effect.
