I like this song especially what the bass, guitar, and that kick, those hi hats that organ are doing in this song. This sounds like Southern Rock with Blues from New Orleans. I'm going to save this video as a reference for study for my mixes. Thanks again Sweetwater.

Great tips! You can also put a little sidechain compression on the bass to duck it 1 dB or 1.5 dB too!

Hi, Robert. Glad you like the video! If memory serves, Dave Martin, who played bass on this, ran direct through an Ampeg SCR-DI direct box, which allows you to dial in a bit of amp-like grit. Mitch
