Great vid, this is something I still have problems with. It's something i would love to be natural but I have to actively think about it to avoid auto piloting and picking the same options. However just the process of thinking for mixups slows my gamepleay a lot. Do you have any tips?

at first it’ll be hard to implement and it will feel like ur game does slow down a bit, but the more u practice different options and just get used to mixing up in general, like anything it starts becoming second nature! just keep practicing and learning! 👍🏽

You said you can punish every move, but sometimes people attack anyway even if I shield the first attack and I can't get rid of it. Let's say roy comes in with his n-air and after that another n-air. What are here some mix-up options besides holding shield longer?

well if they nair right above you u can just up smash, up tilt, or other moves depending on the character and where the opponent is after the second nair because they might able to space their moves properly 👍🏽

my main is joker. my boys main is pikachu, he slaughters me every time. pikachu is too fast and short and his lag time is basically non existent. can you do a video on how to overcome matchups like that?

i get MUs a lot, tbh im not a pro player or anything, plus i dont main joker. i dont have any secrets to beat certain characters and with quarantine its harder to play with good people from my region so i can learn those MUs! they’ll be coming in the future but for now just watch MKleo match up chart he knows a lot more than me :)

My advice is to run a lot. As someone who plays both characters (joker for fun pika is my main) joker can dodge rising fair (an important neutral tool) by just dashing around the stage. After they whiff the fair you can punish but like the video says you need to mixup your options. Pikachu should be playing grounded in this mu to dodge fair 1 so dtilt and moves that hit low are important.

Also try to inch closer slowly if they tjolt little by little so you can punish their options at close range
