I Wonder, When we add an fx to the Chain, is it as if addin to an aux bus? do they work as inserts or busses? the preset fx s, they sound like aux.

Aside from the weird usage of the term Blockchain, This is excellent. I used it (non subscriber, perpetual user) and I love it! It's exactly what I wanted from Studiorack, pro quality presets to experiment with! Great job.

i am testing it now. Maybe it makes the life easier. But I am not sure if its the problem cleaner. I have my own plugin-chains and it works very good but for trying to create a new sound or even a better sound it can be cool.

Is it just me, or did Waves just added 120 plugin demos to my DAW without my permission? Waves Central said there were updates for my plugins, and then next time I opened Logic... There was a tsunami of plugins!

I think this is a smart move considering not every daw has its own dedicated effect rack(with easy to macro knobs). An example would be FL Studio users since the daw requires the use of patcher if you want to go beyond 10 effects or do parallel processing.

That depends on the individual presets. Some can be used for buses if the name mentions they are for buses, but as usual with audio, you should experiment and find the right results for you.

When you're on V14 but not on the subscription plan, will this still be available (even if you own all the plugins that the presets might use)?

Hi Nicky, yes, you can use StudioVerse without a Waves Creative Access subscription. If you own some Waves plugins, you can use any StudioVerse chain that consists of those plugins. You can also install all Waves in plugins in demo mode via Waves Central. Plugins running in demo mode are functional but will introduce periodic audio mutes. Presumably your presets are using latest "all new(?)" Waves plugins? Does that mean if I have a V9 plugin and your using 14 (is it now?) I have to pay the extortioners for all the versions I never used. You know like if you buy a new car 20 years after having bought an earlier model of the same car they make you pay a levy for all the interim models you never had any connection with (?) NOT!!!

I could be wrong but I don't think you have to pay for the in between versions- just the latest ones. Regardless, I think having users have to pay for updates on plugins is really a terrible decision on Wave's part. This is especially the case when the updates themselves don't add any features to the plugins besides compatibility.

@@rebirth4119 I think there must be some levy for each iteration (of nothing) because the limit of $250 (or thereabouts) turns out to be a lie, I was quoted over $800 for all my plugins to be updated with some vague excuse that I had plugins from various versions. Whatever it is really about the 250 figure is just some more of their lying BS it seems
