TDR Nova. Get it, I use it on all my mixing, it's so good. It's a dynamic EQ, so it'll make frequencies quieter like an EQ, but only when it goes over a certain volume. Very useful when an instrument has an annoying frequency on certain notes, but on other notes you want that frequency. Also what's great it has a button that shows you what it's cutting out, so you have full control over it!

@@Gnurklesquimp you're welcome ;0) Yes there are lots of "free" plugins out there to get us started. I've been using CamelCrusher for a long time and it never let me down! Also worth mentioning imo, are the free plugins Fat, Thin and Muscle, from MIA Laboratories. I can start a mix using only these three guys and get pretty decent results as a starting point. Great video! You get my sub! Thanks.
@boimesa81905 жыл бұрын
I heard they were good but they're all compressors so what's the difference?
@teothegreek5 жыл бұрын
@@boimesa8190 They actually are just single-knob EQs. Therefore, I only expected them to fit in certain situations and sounds. While using them, I was preety amazed by their wide range of use and the interesting results they produced. Eventually, they actually sped my workflow up considerably and that's the main reason I suggest them.
@boimesa81905 жыл бұрын
it clearly states in their site that these are compressors... xD
@teothegreek5 жыл бұрын
Fact is, nothing is clearly stated about the nature of this plugins. In the page of Muscle they mention that there is no compression going on. I assume they are a certain combination of their Musiqual EQs, according to this post: mialaboratories.com/piandphimk2-musiqualse-release/ I Quote: "Combining Musiqual Red, Green and Blue can produce remarkable results. Our new FREE plugins MIA Fat, MIA Thin and MIA Muscle pose a characteristic example of this technique."
