Would love it if there was a way to interact with others on Mixcloud, in a forum or something similar. Would be great for discovering new shows, and would help with promoting your own shows as well.

Most people I know, stream on twitch for the following and then upload a clean mix to Mixcloud for their fans. At the moment that seems the best of both worlds to me.

@@BeatsBeneath I think that would be a good video. Something along the lines of using the best of each platform to your advantage. I use both and have streamed on both platforms but I just couldn’t get the same traction on MixCloud compared to Twitch yet I started streaming to MixCloud first.

The ability to play live back to back without handing off stream keys or refreshing pages is a HUGE thing. If you can integrate VJ aspects also, even better!

Yeah, I really hope they get round to some of these things soon. I think the future looks bright for Mixcloud Live. Especially when Twitch is floundering so much right now.

Micloud live has a lot of potential, but i feel it's too early to tell right now. I already finished by free trial but i won't be conditioning until there is a larger audience audience. Currently, i feel it's very difficult to build up any sort of traction with viewers. But i really do hope that this will chnage

Ya I know what you mean. I think we all want it to succeed but I think they've already missed their first window of opportunity. At the start of lockdown a lot of people were choosing between all the different platforms and most ended up on Twitch. I guess if people start getting sued people might start moving back to Mixcloud. I hope they have all the features that people are used to in place by then. Then I think they will do well.
