I happened upon this while searching altered frames??? Anyway, as soon as I saw Steampunk & your name, had to watch!! Wow. What a terrific creation. Reminded me of an old warrior type mask by the end. Absolutely brilliant use of dry wall tape & metal pieces, especially fabulous eyes.... Of course, anything you create is a winner, this is another example of that!! So, not at all what I set out to see but really pleased it came up! Oh & I do appreciate it was 2012 so for you, many many many more creations since. I've been m.i.a so it's great to have such inspirational viewing. Tfs. C😊

and it all came from you - you rekindled a love that I thought had died in that fire - he is only 18 months old but he needs to know how I got to where I am, to know family through my eyes - to see things we saw that he never will - the space race, Sputnik (anyone remember watching the skies for it to pass over and the fear our parents instilled in us???) 9/11 so so much -- and art/writings is a great way to speak to our children - to lay a path for them from past to future - you SO inspire me

You can buy adhesive foil tape from any auto shop. The mesh I used is branded as Magic Mesh here. I found mine on ebay, but I'm sure there are similar products around - I like this one because it's adhesive backed which makes it easy for attaching where you want it.
