Hi Gabrielle, I'm new to exploring mixed media art...and wondering where I have been all this time! In viewing different videos I came across your channel a couple of days ago and have been watching your tutorials. I think your work is amazing! You have such an eye for combining colors and different objects to create such rich textures and looks. Your process is amazing to watch. I admire that you aren't afraid to cover things up...I'm new to oil painting and I struggle with that. I like how you do some of your videos with music and visual instruction and some with narration. Both ways are good, and I love the song you used here. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and methods, this is something I definitely want to do for my own happiness as well as for gifts. I have not ventured into making a canvas with chipboard pieces yet as I wasn't quite sure how to put it all together without looking gaudy. This is absolutely gorgeous with the metallics and I didn't know to gesso the pieces too. Makes sense as the colors of the paint come shining through. I have a ton of chipboard and designs to figure out how to lay it out and enjoy the process of designing one of a kind wall hanging. Thank you for the inspiration! :)

I love that you put the product names on the screen, and I don't care that you don't talk in your videos as one poster asked. :-) I also appreciate the fact that you list all products used in your description. I have watched many videos where they talk and/or show the product so quickly that one cannot figure out what they're saying or showing. your work is phenomenal, I usually just draw and amateurly paint on occasions (its been 15 years since i have done any art work so i am slowly getting back into it) easier said that done because I forgot a LOT of stuff. i have always been interested in mosaic art (tile, glass, stamp, pencil, paint, etc..) Your videos help me get back into a creative mind frame and process. keep up the amazing work.

Thank you very much. Since my Art absence I am learning SO many new things and products and I am itching to go on a shopping spree. I am VERY interested in the glittery paints that you add that liquid too and, actually I am interested in all the products you use they look so high quality and I believe if you are going to do it you do it right and pay for good quality, might take longer to get everything but worth it in the end. Would love to talk more one day if you have time, just let me know a media you would be comfortable using aside from KZbin, since it can be a bit hit or miss for me anyway. I'd love to pick your brain.

Your canvas is sticky? that's odd Sara....what type of texture paste did you use? I usually use a home-made texture paste I make which dries fairly quick. Perhaps it's the combination of your texture paste & the paints? Hopefully it's dried out by the time you read this :) xo

Lol...yes, I have 4 bright lights shining down on my project when I work, so sometimes the colors don't look as rich as when I take a photo of the project in natural light, that's why the still shots at the end sometimes look a little different. :)

you are my absolute favourite artist, alot of mixed media ends up white washed or cover in black with purple or maroon being the only colours that show up, but your not afraid of colour and you use such beautiful colours and mixes of colours, and no matter what art you do whether mixed media or clay, you make it look amazing and so easy, i could just watch you all day everyday and never get bored, you are truly gifted. now for a question unrelated to any of that lol, what is that mat that you work on, it seems great with paint and clay, and i cant find one thats good for both. thanks and never stop creating

I'm not really sure how I came across your AMAZING video this evening,,,I had been watching videos about tracing things to canvas. I'm a relatively 'new' artist & now that I've been painting, I get requests from family & friends all the time. "Paint me this, paint me that".
