Happy 2025! I hope it’s an amazing year for you! 🤗🦋🥰 It was a bit tricky to explain all the messy bits as I hop from one side to another, but feel free to ask any questions! 😄

Wow! Glorious color work.

Wow, that is beautiful. I love the fact that it’s a swatch of color through the whole page, but not all of it.

Thank you so much! 😊 I’m glad you like it! I love that look too, especially because it really highlights the contrast between the lineart and the added colors!

Your artwork is absolutely stunning. The realism and use of colour are what drew me to your channel. I love the look of the white space left untouched. It allows your eye to focus on the artwork. Thank you for the tip of using Gesso to soften the black lines. The absence of the lines gives the artwork realism.

Thank you so much for your kind words! 🥰 I’m so glad you appreciated the use of white space. It’s a technique I love for highlighting the colors. Softening the black lines with gesso really does make a difference, and I’m happy to hear you found the tip helpful! 💖

Your vision is consistently gorgeous and your execution has me squinting with concentration and resembling a dog with its head cocked to one side :) Thank you Azeri. There is never enough of your beautiful work. It makes me feel really happy x

😍👍 Irena, this was stunning!! 👏👏👏 It's mesmerising to watch how you add colour and depth to this beautiful moth pattern. It fascinates me how you identify the most interesting areas to enhance or shade in such intricate patterns! I'm training my eyes for this by watching you. 😊 Thank you so much for this masterclass, and a wonderful colouring year for you too! 🙏 👏👏👏 🤗 🥰 😘

Such beautiful and creative "coloring"! I'm a real fan of your style, although I rarely comment. I am inspired by your choice of mixed art mediums, using both wet and dry techniques. I own many of the same coloring books that you've made videos about, paper quality by each publisher is important. Thank you for giving me the confidence to try out watercolor pencils and paints and I love metallic paints as well. I love how I can watch your videos from my home in California. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this wonderful comment! 💖 It means a lot to me 🥰 Paper quality can definitely make a difference, but a bit of bold exploring adds to the fun too! 😊 So happy to know we share similar tastes in coloring books. 😄 Sending warm greetings all the way to California! 🦋

Ur work is absolutely amazing and gorgeous!!! Did u have any bleed through to the other side of the paper?
@blackaneri17 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 No, there was no bleed-through at all. I used gesso under the moth areas and applied the watercolors slowly on the background, which helped. When I added the pencils on top, the paper flattened out nicely as well! 🥰

These videos are superb! I love your explanations of your process; what a wonderful tutorial. (Have you used gouache? I wonder if I can use gouache instead of acrylic paint.)
@blackaneri7 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for your kind words! ❤ I'm so glad you enjoy the tutorials! 😊 I haven’t used gouache, but you can definitely use it instead of acrylic. I mostly work with watercolors, and I like using acrylics for covering black lines since they’re permanent when dry. It would be lovely to try gouache too though 😊
