Wonderful texture! I loved the addition of the embossing powder. Sometimes we forget that it has more uses than just embossing a stamped image. "Painting" with embossing powder can be very fun. TFS, Heather

So Earthy So Cool!! Must get my old embossing pwdrs out. I don't have this paste as not in UK but I know I could replicate it using normal texture paste with a metallic acrylic. Great bubbling & addition of distress ink, another winner! :))

That is really neat. I normally do acrylic painting but do like mixed media stuff. I am learning more about scrapping, & so far have a limited amount of "stuff" for that. Do you know if acrylic modeling paste works similarly to the paste you used? just curious

What a beautiful tag! Can I ask which type of tag are you using please? It looks thicker than cardstock. Is it chipboard? I am just thinking that cardstock would be too thin to sustain the heating and the weight of the texture paste? Thanks :)

sorry for the delay. i just saw this comment today. if i remember correctly, i used a mixed media paper from strathmore. it is sturdier than regular cardstock.

Would you be able to melt the embossing powder with a different modeling past?(home made or bought) I tried it with Liquitex Modeling paste but my heat gun blew most of the powder away and I didn't see the bubbles. Can you suggest where I went wrong?
