Mixed Media Necklace |

Watch as I use beads and enamel chain from @JesseJamesBeads to create a fun necklace. I begin the video by altering the beautiful bird pendant from the Spring Song mix with some Ultimate Paints. Beads from the same mix along with a couple of other beads are combined with sage green enamel chain to create a beautiful necklace.

Lovely vintage necklace. Greens are my favorite. I like how you paint the caps of your paint-pots, easy to see what you have. Thanks for the *crafty* double layer wire wrap tip for larger holes.

Thank you, Christina! After blues, I love the greens too. And yes, almost all my paints and inks have the colors on the tops so I can see what I'm looking for easier. It's an extra step, but so worth it. As for the larger hole beads, there are tons of ways to deal with them (I've even considered doing a video about all the ways to handle them), but this is probably my most-used and favorite method.

Scrumptious colors and materials❣️ I probably would have placed a green faceted bead at the end of the series of brass and tubes...right before adding the rest of the chain,on both sides. Those faceted beads are just lovely and sparkly✨

Thank you, Betty! I really did want to add those green beads. However, they were SO bright and sparkly that I thought they would take away from some of the other elements in this more subtle palette. Rest assured, I will use them in something else!

I love your necklace! Helps that I love birds and nature. The sage green on that chain is perfect. I have that chain but not in that color and rarely pull it out to use it. So, thanks for the inspiration too!

Aw, thank you!! Yeah, as a nature-lover too, these colors really grab me. That sage is sooooooo yummy! I hope you have fun with that chain. I also have it in a white and now I feel like I want to do something with the white and sage. Hmmmm...Have fun!
