Medical grade is a marketing term and unregulated just FYI. But there are some brands that are more backed by science and it shows in their ingredients and formulations and the way they market themselves!

That was definitely me a year ago, I was overusing acids and causing redness and irritation without realizing it, while still using ”good” products. With a help of a good esthetician I’ve changed my routine and the redness and dryness is gone.

Nowadays, with skin industry becoming a conglomerate competition, it's more often than not that price=good marketing. Sooooo many excellent affordable brands no one on You Tube mentions. Never would have known for numerous brands if it wasn't for my longtime dermatologist introducing them to me

Hi Susan, Question about retinol and pregnancy: In your “Why I LOVE Retinol” video, you recommended to start it in your 20’s and never stop, but many people in their 20’s plan on having kids one day. Have you seen or heard any theories/evidence that returning to retinol after taking a break could speed up or cause more obvious aging? I have practically adopted my skin care routine watching these videos! I wish someone would do a mid-day skin ritual video though. When you go to the gym, or in general end up washing your hands and face, are you supposed to follow the full routine again?

During the day I make sure to reapply my sunscreen at least once, ideally twice (when I’m inside). I’m also trying to make it a habit to reapply sunscreen to my hands after I disinfect or wash them. Not there yet though😅

Keep in mind when getting more intense treatments with an esthetician they might recommend a less intense treatment to then build up your skins tolerance to get the results you really want to see ! Too intense of a treatment too fast can harm the skin in the long run. Find a good esthetician that will be a perfect fit for your needs even if you only go once or twice a year ☺️

I do really think professional and medical grade products are worth the splurge. I think this because they’re expensive not because of the acids and whatnot used in them, but the delivery systems that the acids are administered to the skin to make it that much more effective.

She didn't, she said the one from Aqua is *similar* to the one that she's wearing. Probably because the one that she's wearing is no longer sold or easy to find. 😊 It's beautiful though! I'm sure yours is equally lovely!
