Did the larger one for a Christmas gift for a family member who loves Christmas, loaded with greenery and the Heartfelt Creations Sparkling Poinsettias. The smaller size will be perfect for a window decoration. Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous makes with easy to follow tutorials. Love your channel

Hi Sam, it’s Angie from over at AB Designs, I hope it’s a good eve for you. I wanted to thank you for sharing this BEAUTIFUL lantern. I tried making a pair for our mantle and realized it’s was HUGE!! Wholly cow, kudos to you for making such a massive piece. I wanted to let you know that I altered your dimensions to make a pair that would fit our mantle. The video will be up tomorrow 8/18/2020 at 4am EST in the USA. I used the project and gave you credit and linked this video in my description to be sure you got complete credit, all I did was make it to fit our mantle. I am loving watching your projects, I completely came across your channel by accident. If you want to see our finished project please feel free to hop on over. Looking forward to binge watching you some more. Have a blessed, beautiful day.

Watched all of the 2018 Christmas projects - and they are so wonderful I'm determined to try all of them! When I first started crafting - brought about 'cause I wanted to make paper flowers for my son's wedding to a lovely girl we'd known for many years - I then followed with cards. Your site was the first of many I've been to and I find myself going back again and again to you. The things you create are so imaginative and explained soo well I've now found that you are my favourite. Just when I want something special for a project - there it is on KZbin with 'Mixed Up Craft...Many thanks and the Mini Lanterns are going to start tomorrow ... Many thanks Samantha.

I loved the lanterns from yesterday. I make little favours/ornaments for family every Christmas so I was looking at reworking the larger one. Thanks so much for working out the smaller ornament.

Interesting that you used the music notes. Yesterday, I was thinking of making one as a small gift with a certificate for our church music minister using vellum with music notes that has been in my stash for years. I am so stingy with my vellum. I need to USE IT! LOL! I already have a New Year's resolution....to use up all of my paper in the coming year before it all rots in my craft room. That would allow me to start purchasing all of those cute paper kits that I see you using. I just cannot justify doing that right now because I could open a store with all of this paper! I love it all and could never bring myself to use it. I did break into my Anna Griffin stash this past year with my house village. It is a start. I love your videos and love your voice/accent. It makes me smile....you are so down to earth. :-)

Didn't expect another tutorial, I was going to figure it out by myself, but in one piece. I can see an advantage in doing two, though, because I don't have a die cutter. I think my square punch will just slide in enough to use that, instead. I have no solution for the leaves, though. Maybe a smaller version of Maymay's Rosette Pointsettias instead.
@MixedUpCraft6 жыл бұрын
I received an overwhelming response to create a smaller one so I did. Don't know about MayMay's flower but I'm sure it will work.
@bobbilinn47123 жыл бұрын
You could take a.strands of Christmas lights, make a small hole in the bottom or top (you will be securing the lantern with ornament hooks, mini zip ties or pipe cleaners so no worries about the lanterns being too heavy for lights) of each of the lanterns, stick a Christmas light on the strand in each of them and make a DIY lantern light strand. Good for the tree, swags, garland or wreaths, electric or battery operated lights, depending on size You need and light strand.

Just found your amazing mini lanterns, these are a must make for the tree this year. Two questions: where can I find the double sided tape you used on the windows and where can I find the metal tool used underneath the card stock when you are scoring for folds?
