HEY It does WORKS! Just uncheck "Load Solid Colors Only" . HOW? After clicking "Mixture brush tool" you will see the option menu for the mixture brush tool at the top (Just below the top main menu). At the left, where your see the current brush color box. Just very right to the color you will see a tiny (v) dropdown menu. After clicking you should UNCHECK "Load Solid Colors Only". It's done. But make sure to use "ALT + Mouse Left Button CLICK" of the area you want to select as a brush pattern.

As you explained in the video I did the steps correctly BUT, When I use Mixer Brush Tool It is working as an eyedropper tool, instead of selecting the area to drag, it is selecting specific colour and it is not working. What should i Do ?????

Did u hold alt to select a color? I made another tutorial about it 3 days ago. Go check it out and see if u have missed a step

I have exactly the same problem. Alt+Click samples the color instead of image area. I found the authors' comment where explanation is "watch my video published 3 days ago". but YT doesn't offer filtering by date./ I still don't know how to make Alt+Click force to sampling image area instead of color.
