What about the latency sending a signal via aux?
@AsteroidKiller20 сағат бұрын
Hi! Since I’m only using hardware synths and very little plugins the latency is very low and since the auxes only returns the wet signal of the reverb or delay there is nothing to worry about. But off course if you are using some heavy stuff like Ozone you will definitaly notice it! 👍

What sound card are you using? And is that just another version of an audio interface?
@AsteroidKiller4 күн бұрын
Yeah sorry I said soundcard, maybe I should have said audio interface (to me it’s the same)… anyway… my audio interface are two Motu 828 mkII. I’ve had them for ages. 👍

So you use it to get an idea going then record individual components separately through buses 3&4... are you using it much for mixing these days?
@AsteroidKiller5 күн бұрын
I’m recording thru 1 & 2 (monitoring thru 3 & 4). But yeah, you’re basicly right that I’m not ”mixing” the recorded tracks. Instead I’ll get the sound or the vibe of the consol when I record instead. This makes it much easier when working on multiple projects in that way that you don’t have to recall the settings on the mixer. ❤️
