I'm Otis Isaacs, the Cakewalk Crusader. -started on cool edit pro 2, and got Cakewalk only a year and a half ago. haven't looked back.- The way Teezio described his story, his transition from tracking CB to being a full time Mixing Engineer. Is inspiring. I fell in love with mixing so it's nice to hear someone with his expertise. I learned something from like every sentence he spoke. The slap back thing was nice to learn. I relate to the growth everyday 😂 I also hate my mixes from even a month ago haha. I'm actually awe struck while listening to him. Makes me feel inexperienced but the fact of the matter is I am. Bro Devvon thanks for this gem!!!! this has to be one of the most useful videos I've seen recently

This ep was dope. In fact one of the most informative, begind the scenes look at how some of the workflows and happenings that go on working with artists. I normally listen on Spotify while I commute to work. With my work week starting on Wednesdays, you guys make my 45min drive worth it, putting me in a good place before work. I was wondering where the platform would go to top off the humble beginnings, and y’all have cultivated one of the most professionally present podcasts for us. ❤ Happy holidays to you and yours. Be Real, Be You, and Be Blessed!!💯🙌🏾

BE YOURSELF. This was my main takeaway from Teezio. Sometimes we overcomplicate things cuz we feel it’s not pro enough if we don’t have a complicated template with all the parallel stuff and whatnot. Of course it takes soooo many years of training your ears to be able to differentiate good from not so good, but then again sometimes even that’s subjective. Sometimes the most obvious answer is the answer. lol great great stuff. I’m glad we live in a time where we have access to all this great knowledge and that there’s so many generous artists/engineers who are willing to share their knowledge. It just elevates everyone as a whole! Again, thanks and cheers!
