Metering the song with prefader mode to check whether there is any clip or circuitry overload in any of the individual tracks due to use FX plugins , which may not noticeable in meter when we use reduce volume in post fader metering.

Hey Florina, A kind request.. It'll be useful for all visiting this channel being in entry level music production to learn the core basics like "Gain staging". Please make a tutorial on it.. Or let us both do it if ya need any help. Because it's very important to learn gain staging, And improper gain staging will entirely ruin the clarity of the tracks.. And all our work will become totally pointless.. and 95% of mixing tutorials don't talk about it

Panning the drums is simply a studio trick. Only if you are within a few feet of the drums are they going to be clearly left, right or center. In fact, I doubt there are any drummers who think in left-right terms when playing live. Panning drums does not make them sound "natural." You wouldn't pan a xylophone left to right to make it sound more natural, or would you?
