Mixing Every Bath Bomb From Lush Together

Hello friends! Here is a weird video we made where I mix every bath bomb from Lush together into one, single, franken-bath bomb. Just a heads up - this video was filmed a couple of months ago, pre-quarantine - I would not recommend heading to the mall right now, but I would recommend taking a nice bath, with or without some fizzing bath products.
Anyway, I figured - this type of experiment has worked (within reason) for a wide array of products like lipsticks, foundations, and candles - so why not try mixing every single bath bomb from one store together to see what kind of bath we get? It's BATH makeup science. Wait, no makeup. Bad bath science? Idk.

I used to make potions in my bathroom when I was younger too.(I still do sometimes lol.) I didn’t have a usual recipe but one time I used up all of my family’s eardrops(which for those unaware clears up earwax and sometimes in my case helps with earaches) and then the next day I had an earache and so I just got to suffer lol.

Haha true... 😉 I kept yelling at the screen, "Keep the bomb IN THE PRESS overnight!" They usually need at least 24 hours to dry and get solid. I don't think the almond oil was the best idea either. For most Lush bombs, they don't need a wet ingredient to stay together. They pack the dry ingredients so tightly together, and keep them in their plant-based "plastic" molds overnight, so they can dry and harden.

My guess why they kept falling apart was because some colors were more clumpy therefore trapping air. In some of your later tries the colors were “worked” more and I think that’s why they compressed into the ball better. If you use a sieve I think that would make it more even and compress easier.

The scent is called 29 High Street (because that's where the first Lush store is!) For Valentines Day they have a soap and a bath bomb in the shape of eggplants in the 29 High Street Scent. They also have a soap in that scent and it's sold at Lush Oxford Street. They occasionally also have special "community favourites" releases so even if you don't live in the UK if you keep watch you might be able to get your hands on them!

Because she didn’t mention this, viewers should be warned to wear a fine particle filtration mask if they attempt this. The clays, powders and some essential oils are generally not good to inhale and can irritate airways; particularly if you have preexisting respiratory issues. Also, the food processor bowls and blades shouldn’t be used for food prep after this. The materials in bath bombs contaminate the food processor equipment. I love the results though!

Just incase she sees this. The reason the bathbombs werent bonding is because you used oil to moistened. When you use too much oil, the bathbomb cracks easier. Your best bet was to put smaller portions to spray water or witch hazel to moisten to a little drying than wet sand and they will bond easier. But it also takes a lot of practice.

Thank the Lord no house tour and good smashing. House tours are all kind of meh. Yea, good, but... Better, much better, to inch into Safty's inch by inch, video by video, content by content, when the "story" give a reason to sneak into their closets, or bathroom, or living room or whatever. It worked so well in the concrete&glass house (the beige kitchen house was too small to even attempt a tour)
