This is chock full of great insight and info. I've been eyeballing that Soothe plugin. Great to hear it in action. Bravo to Ross for the insight info and to Vic Firth for making this available to the public!

Such a great video. Very inspiring both from an engineering point of view but more so from a drumming aspect. This really tells you that all you need for a good mix , is not a tons of plugins and samples, "just" a very good drummer playing clear and getting his dynamics in check.
