I’m down to try it out. It made most sense to me to use it last in the chain because I couldn’t hear any harsh transients in the raw audio…it’s at the end of the chain I hear it so it’s easier to dial in Spiff just right… what are the benefits you have experienced from using spiff first in the chain?

I kinda don't think the initial vocal was harsh tho.

It wasn’t harsh, it had harsh or “hard” sounding transients on certain words. That’s the nice thing about spiff, it gets rid of those hard transients. I would have named the video “mixing vocals with hard transients” but that’s not a popular search term so no one would find the video lol

@@PerfectVocalsAcademy Well, I don't even agree with you on that one haha. the Transients were far from problematic. I would have even considered to spice em up a bit. :)

@@PerfectVocalsAcademy Im still trying to work out Soothe 2 which i have as both seem similar in some ways
@PerfectVocalsAcademy8 ай бұрын
They are very similar, but soothe doesn’t tame the harsh transients like Spiff does. Spiff is specifically for harsh transient material only. Soothe doesn’t really tame hard sounding transients
