Hey I know this is an old video but I'm about to pull the plug on getting the t racks this really good also wondering where I can find this album is it on spotify by chance
@DAIMANization5 жыл бұрын
I know this is an old video, but I recently offered this bundle at very good price from its retail. Would you say if you have this bundle you wouldn't need many other bundles? Could you stick with this and have a lot of options? Can either get a waves bundle or this but T Racks seems the better investment.

I just re read my post, I swear my grammar is not that bad. Lol. A lady asked me one day, if I played by ear, said I tried, but easier with fingers

Liked and subscribed! Excellent time being a part of this. Mixing is all about a little little assortment of spices on the different elements, to make the complete mean work together. That is the hardest part when starting out mixing... You just want to spank those spices on every single track and inevitably end up with a disgusting mess, and have to reset everything. Easy does it. Mixing is most of the time not about adding spice to tracks as much as leaving room for tracks to work together.

I like the T-Racks because I’m a simple guy and like a few knobs on a plug in vs a lot of numeric inputs. They do sound nice to me as well.

Wow!!! A life-long friend pointed me toward IK Multimedia for mastering. Surfing through the WWW universe brought me to this video/channel. Absolutely LOVE this: musical chemistry that delves DEEP into technical analysis and demonstrating what these various musical tools are capable of, how they can best be used and applied, and hearing the results of each "tweak" -- Awesome. Much thanks for sharing your passion for and knowledge of music and engineering/producing. Keep it up.

Great live stream as always, Warren! I'll be honest, I never thought much of IK Multimedia until I went to your panel at Winter NAMM 2018. Guess what, I'm now the owner of their Studio 2 MAX bundle and honestly, I feel like I can do ANYTHING with that bundle. I have a symphony when I need it, great EQ's and compressors, and to top it off, a great amp sim and synths when I want to get funky.

Angel Vazquez-Salazar that’s so cool to hear my friend! So glad I was able to help! Always been a fan of TRacKS!

Very useful stuff, thanks. I'd love a video some time on how to EQ/treat synths into a mix. That's the area that flummoxes me the most!

Marvellous question my friend! Definitely more to come!

Awesome vid mate! Usually miss the live feeds due to time difference though. I've been using amplitude for years but recently bought the black 76 and it's quickly become one of my favourite plug ins!! Cheers, Jochen.

I have every single IK Multimedia plugin and i love them. Always wondered why they are not more popular cause the eq's and compressors sound awesome. SSL channels are great too. Reverbs and delays not so fond of. T-Racks is also great for mastering. Easy to use and sounds good. What's not to like?
@marmadukewinterbotham25996 жыл бұрын
Yes, I'm surprised they haven't given the reverbs a complete update/overhaul.

I got for free T-RackS 5 plugins (I bought micro iloud), and they use a lot of cpu compare to Waves or daw's plugins. But I like the fact they are resizable. Maybe that makes them unpopular ? I dont have a lot of plugins but for what i know I will go for Waves. They work fine and dont ruin ur cpu. They just should be resizable to be perfect.

Warren new to the channel for So Cal. Great job on the methodical detailed coverage and in depth comments stressing when, why and where to use the plugins. Having started doing this back when if you wanted these devices it was a hardware purchase for serious $$$$ and now for less than cost of a fraction of the price for the unit a complete sutdio is easily obtain.

No it doesn’t, been playing music for about 49 yrs. So glad this technology is here. Used to have a Fostex 4 track “cassette tape recorder”, the good ole days lol. I am really hoping to learn this craft well, and put it to use, mixing and mastering.

What a freedom we have with all those plugins, but now the hard reality comes in: Mixing and Producing great...:) ;) We have our own taste and ears, but when working with a producer, also guidelines and...Thats ok...:)

Question: Why were you using T-Racks 4 plugins (which still use the low latency/oversampling option) for what was supposed to be a demonstration of T-Racks 5 (in which the oversampling option has been dropped in favor of all plugs using the same sampling)? Odd....

T racks is BIIIIG! When I bought it i did not know what its used fore, beside that it had bunch of compressors and mastering consoles, now I use this like everywhere. It is so big.. haha..

Great insights ! How would you position/rate IK MultiMedia T-RackS 5 plugins for EDM production, mixing, mastering ?
@acmeyakko6 жыл бұрын
I can never watch these live but thank you for posting. I play guitar, bass and mandolin with my real instruments and fill in with drums, piano, organs, strings and such with midi/VI. I do have TRacks MAX already, so I feel pretty left out with the promo, especially since I missed the mastering console. I do love the Elevate mastering plugins though.

Hi Warren, Thanks for a cool mixing session, its always a learning curve for me when I watch how you do stuff, your awesome, I was wondering what type of microphone would be the best to record ambient sounds outside, obviously with a wind shield, wanted to record some guitars down the woods and also capture the whole scene, may be some congas and that, so is there any microphone that would be best suited? thanks again bud, all the best, Darren Ross.
