These types of videos are super useful for comparing my raw vocals to theirs. Especially for screams, knowing there is a distortion plug-in or not really helps me determine if I am doing it right.

You don’t need to be a rock or metal dude for this? Using tips like this in future bounce etc, got like jumping bass and hi hats and high noises. U will achive the same?? Hoping for answears. :)
@simoneferrarese47945 жыл бұрын
Hey bro, I'm both a metal and EDM producer... Those "tips" are made specifically for mixing metal screams, so you can't apply them directly to other type of sounds You can, tho, try to understand what every effect does to the sound, because many effects used in this video are really useful also in other music styles, like compression, eqing... If you watch those videos, you need to watch them in a way that you really understand what every effect actually does, and why it's there, so you can then apply them to every sound knowing what you're doing :D

DiamondLifer He’s obviously not referring to basic stuff like compression and EQ... He’s referring to the extra production effects like stutters, pitch bends, etc.
@URMAcademy5 жыл бұрын
Correct
@DiamondLifer5 жыл бұрын
Julian Worden Interesting. Maybe, but this video and the statement was referring to vocal production. Those “stutters” and “pitch bends” as you call them which also aren’t anything new to glorify are master track post production effects. In terms of vocals only, it’s a great chain and production but there’s nothing new or groundbreaking (not even for the genre) being done here. With that being said I do enjoy this album and production.
