Can you get similar results with this as the V-Comp? How does it stack up against it? I love the V-Comp, but I've always wanted a wet / dry knob and a side chain filter. Being that this has those features, I'm really interested in it. Thanks for another great video!

+Lorenzo Antonio Hi Lorenzo, I work a lot with the V-Comp and love it. There is nothing here in this video that cannot be accomplished with the V-comp. Even the parallel processing and side-chain filtering can be set up easily in your DAW. I have not really compared them side-by-side so it's hard for me to pick one over the other. Perhaps a demo of both on your end might yield some results. Please post them if you do. Cheers! Mike

Hello Mike. So, is it ok to have this one on the mixbuss compressing around -9 dB GR? With the ssl bus compressor it's usually waaaay less gain reduction so I'm concerned, I'm trying it right now and it doesn't sound bad with all that gain reduction happening, but I'm scared I could fuck up haha.
