Yet no one ever gives one of the greatest rock vocalists to live credit for his extraordinary vocals. I don’t see his name mentioned once here anywhere. A complete travesty. Miljenko Matijevic!!! The vocalist of Steel Heart, still performing this song, still hitting every note. And kudos to your friend, sorry for his loss, but the songwriting credits clearly state Miljenko Matijevic and Kenny Kanowski. Please give credit where credit is due, as admin of Rock groups I will from this point on include Kenny in the credits. It is a fantastic song, but MM made it great with his stupendous vocals. No question.

Think of my son when I hear this song, he died Tuesday November 28, 2023 at 9:18am. The pain is so bad, no parent should ever have to bury their child. He was hit by a truck when he hard braked on his motorcycle trying to avoid a truck and trailer that turned in front of him. He lost control and fell off and he ended up in the on coming south bound lane. A idiot driver that was looking at the motorcycle in the road and not the highway in front of him hitting my son when he was trying to get up. That was September 24, 2023 and he spend 8 weeks in the ICU with a grade 3 DAI. I had him moved into hospice and he passed 6 days later, nothing left of him other than bones and skin. RIP Gerald, your my heart and it stopped when yours did.

I like this song!! We All Die Young" Risk my soul, test my life For my bread Spend my time, lost in space Am I dead? Let the river flow Through my callused hands And take me from my own The eyes of the damned It makes my stomach turn And it tears my flesh from the bone How we turn a dream to stone And we all die young Tell me I know I lived so afraid And still we cry alone With words left unsaid Yeah, it makes my stomach turn And it tears my flesh from bone to bone How we turn a dream to stone And we all die young Yeah, we all die young Yeah, we all die young Yeah, we all die young Yeah, we all die young Yeah, we all die

Hey man, this is not true . I grew up listening to Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins ,Alice in Chains - these days were the bst in my life . No money no problem, just guitar your voice, long hair , old jeans old t-shirt and love and that`s was all you need ! Thanks god I was born in 1978 and the bst music era was 90`s . But this song is amazing !

A great song and a great movie. As a fan of this genre it is a little disheartening to realize how much of a formula exists and how Hollywood can create an awesome hair metal anthem and band. Comment coming from a 57 y/o lifelong fan who has seen all of these actors/musicians perform live. And like Shelia...I like tequila!
