Mixtrack Pro II Scratch -Fake or Real?

The upper part of the turntable can scratch and the grey edge is tempo when scratch is turned off. When on they both scratch together

For those who have noticed the scratch button is off...dont u see that the sampler pad button's lights are also off..it's becoz of the wrong mapping!! Awesome scratching..really KILLED IT !! but pls do place the camera in a better place...thanks for this really !!

+RandyRhoads84 Yes but you need two computers or a iPad and a computer then use USB sound card put device like a M-Audio fasttrack .

One way to get around is to export your garageband or Logic project as a AIFF or MP3 and bring it directly into djay scratch on the project and record it all in djay software. hope this helps.

Look in your DJ software for a setting to change scratching from "CD" to "Vinyl."

The platters are dual zone touch-sensitive; the outer rim is for nudging/scrolling, the top surface is for scratching

I don't think it's fake. Going on from experience, my Mixtrack Pro 2 works with software fine, but the LED don't light in some cases, or stay lit up regardless of if they're in use or not.

This is real its all down to midi mappings the button for scratch button can be mapped to anything and the light has its own adress plus just watch the movement of the platter versus the cross fader and this is pretty awesome keeping in mind the deadzone of the crossfader is huge on low end midi controllers

Im not sure ? real or fake .but I do know that on my numark 4Trak the button light do what ever the hell they want .some times they work some times they dont .I can reload traktor over and over till they do work .but I normally dont cause the light may not work but the button itself still works just no light .and I never loaded the band aid for it . but fake or not .sounds dam good

Funny how Most are saying It's Fake. Look at the.X Fader Movement and Waveform on the Laptop...Sure Djay 2 and Djay Pro have an Auto Cut feature with Slow and Fast modes...but pay attention to his technique...definitely REAL...And From a Seasoned Pro I might add

I know nothing of this type of art but, I do know that for someone to memorize 3 minutes 6 seconds of continuous scratch and be perfectly in sink with hand movements, would take great talent. I started on a Mixtrack Pro. ( I have a the Mixtrack Pro 2 now) After practice I was pretty good at cutting mixing and scratching. I made mix tapes, did parties, BBQ's with it. Now I have a spot every Saturday night. I will be getting a NS7 soon. But I started with the least expensive good midi on the market. I dont thick you can get a Mixtrack 1 anymore.

A+ ...cutting on certain controllers especially ones in this range tend to have incredible latency issues...its so bad of a delay response you have to almost trick your mind into executing a fader movement in a delayed fashion just to line up with the deck which believe me...is a mind screw. These were highly technical chirps and flares with a lot of stabbing that was right on time...extremely difficult to do on these controllers unless you are really skilled so great work..i rock a VCI 380 Murasaki and the latency is like 100 times better then the other controllers i have used even the DDJ-SX. so once again this is REAL and its not simple by any means...Good work -MD
