Good news! Things have been very slow due to the dangerously hot weather that we have experienced here in southern Nevada, but the weather is starting to cool down and we should be back to making our videos in a few more weeks. We have lots of cool firearms to review too!

Desiccating. The low humidity coupled with the high heat is a double whammy. I used to work in the fields when it got to 120+. But humidity up around 30 to 50 percent. It was sustainable with precautions such as protective clothing and staying hydrated. Low humidity makes that a killer. Not to say heat alone isn't, but that low humidity puts you in peril before you know it. Your internal organs suffer greatly. It is very difficult indeed to take in enough liquids and electrolytes to stay hydrated. It may well be impossible.

That’s crazy. Here in Oklahoma near Tulsa. It’s been a mild summer. We have had only one or two days even NEAR 100. We usually have several. Its been in the 80s a good deal of the time as well.

No kidding about the heat! I live in Tucson. My buddy and I shoot every 1-2 weeks in the winter, but we're both pushing 70 years old and can't handle the summer temps anymore. As Harry Callahan said, "A man's gotta know his limitations".
