What velocities do you use for the snare and kick? I'm confused why mine doesn't sound this good out of the box lol

Yeah this library doesn’t have too many velocity samples, unfortunately. This is probably my only gripe with it 😂 I don’t know which velocity specifically, but somewhere over 100 there is a pretty hard (and noticeable) cutoff from regular hits to rimshots for the snare. Also with the cymbals too. For any hard hit, I’ll use anything over that velocity. I don’t remember if it was noticeable with kicks and toms but double check those too!

there's nothing on the drums right? how did you process guitars and bass?

Hey! There’s absolutely nothing on the drums! I used Archetype Nolly + GGD Studio Cabs and then some slight EQ to notch out some harshness and then JW Bus Glue for the guitars. For the Bass, I used a DjinnBass DI and Parallax from Neural DSP for the tone!
