@@stxnia1g Thanks man! I've done NTM for the bigger portion of my production journey, but it's been some time since I last checked out a session. I'm eventually gonna start picking up covers/original arrangements, and I'm actually thinking of to doing some mix breakdowns for those if that's something you'd be interested in!

dig it man. but i'm wondering why your strings look like that tho lol is it some video effects or something?
@theperiidot5 күн бұрын
They look like normal guitar strings to me
@MattMcloughlin4 күн бұрын
It's a camera thing, if you shoot with a high shutter speed, it captures the string vibrating like that, rather than how our eyes see it as a blur! It's why the movement on his arm is jittery too, it basically gets rid of all motion blur and makes things look very "sharp". The camera is basically seeing faster than our eyes are!

did you put a ringmod to achieve the scratchy harmonic effect?
@Cartian13 күн бұрын
If we're talking about the part before the pick scrapes then yes! That part didn't really sound like a fast/tremolo picked harmonic to me because I was hearing some sort of fluttery bits in that part, so I figured I'd throw a ring mod and dial it in to match as close as I could. At the time of recording I thought it sounded pretty dang close to the original. Though since then, I was informed by a commenter that says Mike is actually achieving that sound through a pedal called the Rainbow Machine, which after listening to how that pedal sounds, I'm 100% certain it's that 😂
@LunarTheExtraordinary17 күн бұрын
I'm sorry bro but is that special effects? 😭😭 Why ur strings bending like that?? U know how out of tune it'd sound if it really bent like that? 😭😭
@stevejohn666917 күн бұрын
I really how ur strings didn't bend like that bro. That's seems bad for the guitar, and by the look of it it's an expensive one too
