I am using a Rodecaster as my mic mixer to the Mixxx however when I click the mic the music starts to echo ? when I kill the mic the music is fine? any ideas please.

Try to use head phones if you’re not using them already. Torn down the volume.

To pre-listen to a track, activate the Preview column in a library view. Clicking the icon in the library’s Preview column loads the selected track into a special Preview Deck that will only output sound in the headphones channel. Click the icon to stop the playback. I have my mic set up to do voice overs, however my voice isnt coming through, no other programs are using the mic and the mic is good when not being used in MIXXX. I have even tried other mics, same thing happens. I hear the music streaming to my internet listeners, however not my voice.. how do I get my voice thru the MIC to work???

View your available microphones in Mixxx under "Mic/Aux" (bottom left). "Mic 1" uses your default input device, which may be your internal mic. Change this in your computer's settings. For example, in Mac go to System Preferences -> Sound -> Input, then choose your mic. Mixxx should now use your selected microphone. Still not working? For Mac and Windows, you shouldn't need LAME anymore. But if you're on an older version of either OS, find where to download LAME at: www.mixxx.org/wiki/doku.php/internet_broadcasting

When I clicked on the web link you gave, I clicked on download Lame for Mac (The link) , it took me to mega.co.nz but that does not actually load. It keeps declining to load. Please any other options? My Mac is OS Catalina 10.15.2. I have been struggling for too long please help.

Hi, PKG files contain installer files, so opening the PKG should begin the installation process for LAME.

Upload your tracks or mixes to the Radio.co platform, then let listeners request tracks and play them out automatically using the interactive song requests.
