Yeah but she is ice, and we all know Hoyo have a hate-hate relationship with Ice DPS: Ayaka was absolutely busted -> both her and her Cryo support, along other Cryo DPS have been in jail for so long most forget she exist. Along with the powercrept namely Neuvilette and Alecchino. Jingliu of HSR was tier -1 when she yfirst introduced. Now, her DMG is so bad that a Healer (Lingsha) can do more DMG with a mid build. So fingercrossed Miyabi is not tossed to oblivion the next patch.

While you sort of have a point, things are very different here. Ayaka has lost her place mostly because most enemies can't be frozen anymore. Anytime they can be in abyss, she still does really good. This isn't a problem miyabi will face in zzz. As for jinglui, she was so good early on as she didn't need any supports. Sadly, that also meant she didn't fit in any of the combat engines they made, and couldn't fully benefit from any of the supports that later came out. This is something that technically could affect miyabi, but it doesn't seem likely. Zzz doesn't seem to be making anything like hsr combat engines, and while her numbers are great, she can easily work with any support characters. Jinglui being so self contained made it hard for any to fully benefit her.

Nah bro. Ellen is Op Ice character before Miyabi comes along. It always Ice that gets better treatment here. Heck, a lot of combat in ZZZ are either Ice or Ether related.

Miyabi doesn’t operate like an ice character heck her anomaly application isn’t ice it’s frost and it seems to not mix with the previous ice characters in fact disorder happen when ice and frost combine.
