Thank you for the very informative video especially how to check the tides. What week of November was this video taken? I'm going on the last week of November, I hope the autumn colors is still as beautiful like the in your video.

Thank you for your comment. This video was shot on November 18 last year. The leaves will probably fall a little more in the last week, but hopefully it will look beautiful the day you go. Enjoy your trip! ⛩

This was a fantastic video.....amazing. I liked how you provided a lot of information so people know what to expect, while also making it very, very interesting and good for the soul. I'm going to Japan for the first time, so your video was wonderful. I had a few questions, so I'm hoping your can help out a bit. You suggested checking out the "Tide Schedule" so you'd know when was High Tide & Low Tide; where do you go to find this information? It looked like a more amazing view of Itsukushima and Hokoku Shrines, so do you know how late these are open till? When you came back down from Mt Misen, you grabbed some snacks (ice cream & sweet potato), so I was wondering if this was back at the Omotesando Shopping Arcade, of where you went? I really liked your idea about going up Mt Misen early in the morning and returning in the early afternoon...avoid the crowds hopefully. Last question...when you went for dinner, how late was Hanako open till (I heard that a lot of restaurants close early) and when you got the Hiroshima Lemon Sour, was this the drink?...can you say what it tasted like? So thanks again....this video was so helpful and so interesting. Best video that I've seen after watching 3 weeks of videos on Japan.

Thanks for the comment! Depends on the season you are coming, but I would recommend going up to Mt. Misen in the morning because it is very crowded in the spring and fall. I'll try to answer your questions. The tide schedule is only available in Japanese, but please check here. Please enter the date of your visit to Miyajima. www.miyajima.or.jp/sio/sio01.php Itsukushima Shrine is open from 6:30am to 5pm, or until 5:30 or 6pm depending on the season. Hokoku Shrine Shrine is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. I got the sweet potato ice cream store at Momijidani. goo.gl/maps/K935kuC7JkGrmg849 Okonomiyaki Hanako is open from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. goo.gl/maps/DUvZHxqXZTNog6ScA This okonomiyaki is also popular in Miyajima. This is a small store, so you might have to wait in line. They are open until 8:30 p.m. at night. goo.gl/maps/CK6JjVRBLaByuBqs6 Check Google for opening days and hours for both places. I have also made several other videos about Miyajima Island. I change the restaurant each time. Please take a look if you like. 1.kzbin.info/www/bejne/iX-Ypo2ooduqd7M 2.kzbin.info/www/bejne/iIeakoivq9KrjKs
