I was there on April 3. It was indeed magical. We took that ferry from the Atomic Bomb dome, and we stayed at the Kikunoya Hotel up the hill at Miyajima Island.

Thank you for a wonderful video. I’m planning trip there in July. How is the weather in the summer? will it be too hot to climb Mt Misen in July?

It is summer and quite hot on Miyajima Island in July. If you take the ropeway to the top of the mountain, as in this video, the climb is short, so just be careful. It is hot but many tourists will also be climbing. Please take precautions against the heat with lots of water, a change of clothes, and a hat. Enjoy the day according to the weather and your physical condition! ⛰
