Yeah, and even those who can reproduce what Miyavi does isn't that spectacular. It's mimicry. I'd say the same applies for Les Claypool as a bassist. It's not like there aren't other bass players who can play his work, but, there are few bass players able to create such work from scratch as he and Miyavi do with their unique talents.

Lots of video cover of Miyavi on KZbin..... I think there's just few people able to imitate his skill (but not really able to imitate ).. Miyavi's guitar skill is outstanding!!... very Unique... He really makes the guitar talk to our intuition

It's because MIYAVI's using techniques that are usually for bass guitar. When he first started learning how to play music, he only had an accoustic since he wasn't able to afford a bass (he wanted to play slap bass). Somehow, JUST SOMEHOW, he was able to pull it off, and the rest is history.
