New year,many new forests in the gods own country...Surely needed to defeat global warming and changing climatic conditions☺☺

Good effort friend. It is good if forest department can do something like this instead of the large teak plantations they creating. The teak plantations just produce some timber. The miyawaki forest generate a self sustainable ecosystem. Those miyawaki food forest are great for ecosystem and all the wildlife. It can also produce additional income for people from forging and other products from forest.

Kerala has a wide range of soil textures like laterite, black, red, clayey, sandy etc. From our experience, we have found that the texture of soil in Kerala differs even between a distance as less than about 5 kms.

Why planting forests where already forest is growing by itself (plot 2 and plot 3)? 🤔
@LureThosePixels5 жыл бұрын
Both plots are a grassy area with no biodiversity, even the 3rd with the small cane plants.
@jarretdietzler77504 жыл бұрын
Those areas were sustaining very low levels of biodiversity.

@@CrowdForesting IT INCLUDES FORCED PHOTOSYNTHESIS.. A SAPLING WON'T BECOME A TREE WITHIN THREE YEARS NATURALLY.. THERE ARE SOME LAWS OF NATURE. THAT YOU HAVE TO RESPECT.. THOSE LAWS EXIST FOR A GOOD REASON.. . THIS IS JUST LIKE ARTIFICIAL SELECTION WHICH IS ALSO AGAINST MOTHER NATURE... FAST WORLD.. SO YOU NEED A FAST TREE.. SHAMEFUL AND PATHETIC
@antormk13 жыл бұрын
The purpose of Miyavaki is not to grow trees fast but to improve biodiversity and animal life in an otherwise barren landscape, which would kick start a biological cycle and thus the forest expands by itself and will self propagate. It would be best to use this method in areas of deforestation to regenerate the forest rather than using it in urban areas.
@alkasoli40023 жыл бұрын
@@antormk1 it involves forced photosynthesis.. A sapling won't become a tree within three years That's not how you improve biodiversity A tree is connected to the soil.. Nature requires /should be given time
